  • Here at Comics: The Gathering we're excited to be bringing you coverage of the second season of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy. The first season was a phenomenal success, being watched by 45 million households in the first month alone and coming third in Netflix's most popular shows of 2019. An impressive feat.

    It adapts the incredible Dark Horse comics written by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance fame, and illustrated by the talented Gabriel Bá.

    After an incredible return of comics last week, this weeks sees the beginning of one of the most anticipated mini series of the year with Dark Nights Death Metal #1. This week we also see the return of Strange Adventures with issue #2 and a Flash and Nightwing Annual from DC Comics. As far as Marvel goes however, this week there are no issues
