Our Unity Squad has been cut lose by Captain America, so where do they go from here? Turns out the Hand wants to bring the Hulk back to life, so it looks like the Unity Squad will have to go it alone to stop them.

This is the Uncanny Avengers that we not only wanted but needed. This series has had it’s ups and downs but it is finally finding its groove. With Captain America gone, I find the dynamics on the team really working now. Rogue is really stepping up and leading them, and I couldn’t be happier that they are no longer sanctioned Avengers.

This issue was a lot of fun and really combines the action and comedy that we have come to love from the series. Deadpool has some really funny quips in this issue and I am really enjoying his relationship with Rogue. Those two seem to really work well together. You can sense that some of the members aren’t going to be ok with everything that’s been happening now that Steve Rogers has cut them lose.

I could see some members wanting to leave which would open things up for some new members. Part of me is hoping that with an appearance by Elektra in this issue, maybe there is a chance she will join the team? I think that would be so awesome if it happened. She is such a great character and would bring some brutality to the team.

The pages here are gorgeous and I’m really happy to have Pepe Larraz back on the book. His style is absolutely perfect for this book. His attention to detail with each character is amazing. David Cuiel’s colors just pop off the page and every page is even more exciting to look at than the last.

If you haven’t been following this series, then this issue is the perfect jumping on point. This is one of the best team books Marvel is putting out right now and really is a must read. The Hand is wanting to resurrect the Hulk and use him as a weapon, this is going to get crazy and you don’t want to miss it!
