Banshee requests the aid of the Marauders in Ireland.

This was a fun issue that is an obvious filler issue. But one that I found pretty entertaining. Nothing major happened in the book but it does set the stage for some possible changes coming. I’m a big fan of Banshee and I loved seeing him here. It would be great to see him become a permanent member in a book with Emma Frost. These two have great chemistry together and it really shined in this book.

One of the best parts of the book came near the end. The Stepford Cuckoos completely stole the show for me. How they are written in this book is exactly how I like them. A little sinister and creepy like how they originally were in Grant Morrisons run. This was a highlight of the issue for me.

The art was fun and really played into the comedic feel of the book. It really brought a more lighthearted tone from the more serious issues we had gotten previously.

Overall Marauders was a lot of fun. Yes, it screamed filler issue, but it was so fun and getting to see Banshee back in action was well worth it.
