The tournament continues and finally we get some good old fashioned sword clashing.

First off Saturnyne has so much power. I have been wondering through this event how she became so absolutely powerful. There are moments in this chapter where she displays more power than I’ve seen her have before. It makes me wonder from the moments we have seen in previous chapters, is it really her or is it whatever it is behind the veil that is making her so powerful?

This chapter felt more like what I had expected from the very beginning. One versus one, swords clanging against the other. There was some pretty incredible action, and many of the characters really shined. Though there are some lasting ramifications for a few of them.

That being said there are some moments in this chapter that felt like it made all the previous moments in the event irrelevant. This seemed almost too easy and lazy. If it was all going to come down to this anyways, why all the hoops and silliness? This chapter was probably the one that got me to ask the most questions. I just don’t feel it came together like the creative team planned.

Overall this chapter was a mixed bag of good and not so good moments. We do have three chapters left in this event. From what we have seen so far anything could literally happen. I just hope we get a satisfying ending to it because after this chapter, I worry we won’t.
