Want to put a smile on your face and relive the golden age of cartoons? Well, picking up a copy of Looney Tunes every month is really good way of doing just that. This is the type of comic that you would read at the grocery store as you waited for your parents to finish up and then beg them to buy it for you. It’s the comic that does not concern itself with continuity because it’s main goal is to make you laugh, or at least give you a chuckle. And that’s exactly what you’ll get.
This month, the comic, as ever, is split into four short stories. The first stars the ever-funny Road Runner and Wile E Coyote and guest starring Speedy Gonzales. This quite simply is the story of what happens when the Road Runner is injured and gets the next fastest Looney Tunes to help him out.
Story number two stars Daffy Duck and Foghorn Leghorn in the trappings of putting on the play Macbeth. Let’s just say it doesn’t go well for either involved.
Number three and four star Sylvester and Tweety Bird and well, let’s just say that you shouldn't try and apply Sylvester’s tactics in your ninja training.
All the stories are a lot of fun and make for a nice quick read on a Saturday morning. As for the art, it’s typical Looney Tunes and uses the house-style.
