Another great issue added to the story arc Double Trouble by Kevin Cannon and Joey McCormick. Like the previous two Double Trouble issues, this one is packed with fun and adventure with more imaginative artwork.

Finn and Jake get the full story of what happened to Maggee when the witch granted her wish, which then reveals what is probably happening to their doubles back at home. They then must find the witch and get the solution to this problem. Finn and Jake then split up, with Finn going with Maggee to find the witch and fight the solution out of her, while Jake goes to check on the Candy Kingdom, where they had originally left their doubles to clean the mess.

The issue has lots of adventure and a lot of heart as usual. So far, Cannon has done well with giving you enough in each of the four issues that you feel that you got enough story and yet still leaves you wanting more. This issue does this very well, including a predictable, but amazing cliffhanger.

Joey McCormick, like I have said in the past, has a great style for the Adventure Time universe. It’s fun and magical and cartoonish and it really brings the story and the characters to life. Plus, the cover by Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb of Jake and Finn looking into fun mirrors, but with Jake morphing his body to have his reflection normal is so clever. The cover is the perfect preview of the fun within the pages of the issue.

The team of Cannon and McCormick together has proven to produce fantastic comics and you can experience that when you read this issue. The humor and story is great for both kids and adults and reading it is purely entertaining.
