X-Men : Curse Of The Mutants (TPB)

by lucstclair on May 11, 2012

A human bomb goes off in a populated area of San Francisco, but fortunately, the only casualty is the bomber. Turns out, the bomber was a vampire, one of Xarus’ minions, Xarus is the only son of the once powerful & departed Dracula, Lord of the Vampires. Having recently relocated in San Francisco and made their home base on an island they called “Utopia”, the X-Men are about to go to war with an army of the undead… and only one side will walk away, changing the life of an X-Man… forever! Featuring Blade & Namor The Sub-Mariner.

Nostalgic horror meets super heroes in spandex in an intense tale of mutants, blood suckers & vampire hunting! Cyclops has really changed over the years. He started off as a naïve teen coping with his powers to an angry mutant with brother issues & time travelling sons of the future to the now cool & collective born leader that always has a backup plan.

Move over Blade! Wolverine was made to kill vampires, with those claws of his, he’s a natural born vampire slayer. Watching him slice & dice vamps is pure poetry. This is a perfectly crafted story, a real page turner with a few surprises thrown in for good measure. Written by Victor Gischler (Deadpool Corps Prelude) & beautifully illustrated by Paco Medina (Deadpool Vol. 1). Originally published as X-Men #1-#6 Curse Of The Mutants Saga & X-Men : Curse Of The Mutants Spotlight. From Marvel Comics.
