Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #19

Writer: Robert Venditti

Artist: V. Ken Marion

Colourist: Dinei Ribeiro

Publisher: DC Comics

The story picks up a lot in this issue, and while Robert Venditti doesn't provide the answers we were looking for, this issue was still fun.

I'm worn out at this point with the threats targeted against the entire Corps. It's been happening over and over again in this series since the beginning, and this threat is no different. While there are some stakes, especially with Venditti teasing the future of the Green and Yellow Lanterns with visions of the future, it's hard to feel scared when creatures are sent to attack Mogo.

The art by V. Ken Marion was great, though. While not as strong as the series' other artists, Ethan Van Sciver and Rafa Sandoval, it still has draws and looks nice despite it looking out-dated at times.

While there wasn't anything really wrong with this issue, it didn't do anything to wow me and seems to be setting up next issue's big action scene.
