This comic starts with an amazing concept. Amelia Earhart is discovered by escaped on an alien planet. Sounds amazing, right?

The writing just didn’t hold up. The story started off confusing, but within a page or two, all was explained and I was raring to go. But, the dialogue was unnatural. And some of the transitions felt forced.

And the artwork was right on track with the writing. The expressions on the faces were unnatural, and at some points felt inappropriate to the emotions of the scene. There was even one frame where I felt Amelia’s face was unrecognizable when compared with the rest of the book.

I was about ready to give up on the series. Call it a one and done until I got to the last page. And there was a twist. The first thing to actually get me excited in the whole comic. And honestly, despite all of the aforementioned flaws, I can’t wait to pick up issue number two to see where this thing is going.
