Thaniel #2

Thaniel sees his friend Cary, behind an evil villains desk. The type of desk evil villains kinda sit behind. This was after Thaniel cleared a warehouse full of goons. Our hero had to put an end to the drug problem, and this was his solution. That’s how we ended a very powerful issue one.

Fast forward to now, in issue two Thaniel struggles with the notion that he will have to use his strength against his friend. Omar Spahi does a great job in the flashback sequence. I didn’t care if Thaniel ripped Cary in two pieces. Until the past explained what an awesome friend Cary was to Thaniel. Terry Huddleston’s use of facial expressions here were perfect and extremely appropriate. As was Steve Wands choice of a nice, open, inviting and clear font style.

So now, like Thaniel I too find myself stunned. You can't just kill Cary like the others, this guy was your friend for crying out loud! Plus he isn’t Triangle, so maybe Cary can be rehabbed?

Cary takes advantage of a stunned Thaniel and lets off an explosion that gives him the opportunity to pull a trigger.  A trigger that’s part of a gun that’s in his hand and pointed right at Thaniel. Then BOOM.

Complete cliffhanger till issue three, nicely done OSSM crew.
