The Black Widow is back in action.

This was an interesting read. We get to see the Black Widow in action after the previous traumatic events. She's now the guardian of San Fransisco.

Now this book hints at her possibly mentoring a young person. I'm hesitant as in other series I struggled to enjoy them when those characters did the same thing. Hopefully this isn't some new Widow that Marvel is planning on creating. Natasha and Yelena are more than enough.

My hesitation aside this issue did have a lot of fun action, and seeing Yelena and Natasha interact is one of my favorites parts of the book. I love their relationship and it looks like we are going to get a lot more of it going forward.

I also got heavy Daredevil feels from this book with the amount of exposition through Natasha's narration. It was fantastic and I'm so excited for more. Maybe Daredevil will show up at some point. I'd absolutely love that.

The art in this book was also really exciting. The action scenes were laid out well and really pulled you into the action. I love Natasha's new suit and it looks great when she's leaping around taking down the bad guys.

Overall this was a fun read. I do have my reservations about possible directions this book is headed but it was still action packed and I'm interested to see her become a guardian for a city, rather than globetrotting as a super spy.
