Jessica Jones #11

Writer: Brian Michael Bendis
Artist: Michael Gaydos
Publisher: Marvel Comics

Things have gotten pretty crazy in this series with Jessica trying to find out who is trying to kill Maria Hill. Just when Jessica thinks she has a lead things go sideways.

This series has had it's ups and downs. Brian Michael Bendis is at his best when he is writing his own created creatures. This issue though was probably one of the more weaker ones from the series. The story is just dragging on with not much happening in this issue especially. Normally I wouldn't be bothered by it because this is classic Bendis but the dialogue in this issue seemed to be especially weak and all over the place. Especially when the book moves to a silly comic about Maria Hill in one of her early escapades with S.H.I.E.L.D.. Even the cliffhanger at the end of the issue was not enough to save it from mediocrity.

This is a top series for me but every series falters at some point. This issue is just that, but I hope that things will pick up in the next issue. I still highly recommend checking out this series even though this was a lack luster addition to what has been an overall incredible series.
