Wel, well, well...things are getting mighty interesting for everyone in this comic. We have Rick going after Carl, who's going after his girlfriend, who's going after her family, who don't care about anyone mentioned before. Then we still have the fair going on inside the village that may or may not have been infiltrated by Carl's girlfriend's mom, Alpha. And of course we get a cah-razy last panel that shows Rick what fear truly is and also why the last few months have been so quiet for him and his ilk. Great stuff coming up for this comic.

Kirkman is a master of plot progression. Even when it feels like something could go nowhere, it does a full 180 and takes you by surprise. This issue is one of those that by the end of it will have you wondering how anyone is going to survive to issue #150. And this issue also have a wealth of dialogue. I'd say that the last 15 or so issues have been extremely quick reads, whereas this issue took some time to get through. I don't mind a dense read because I love reading a lot more than most, so this issue was a treat and there was plenty to be excited about. Amazing as always.

Lastly, the art team continues to impress with its black and white monotonal art that just screams for the reader to use their imagination in order to fill in the gaps. It's a great technique and I'm glad that they haven't truly swayed away from their niche. That said, I wonder what the comic would be like if it had originally been in all color because I've seen some of the color prints and they were a tad underwhelming. So yes, I think that they are the best at what they do and this issue is just as good as the rest. Awesome!

Another stellar issue. PICK IT UP!!
