Spoiler free Batman review:

Do you like Snyder and Capullo's current run? If so, buy it.

Do you like the idea of a giant armor suit called "The Justice Buster?" If so, buy it.

Do you like Batman? Of course you do. Buy it.

And now for my spoiler-filled review...

So basically, this issue is balls to wall insane. It's action packed, tense, but also, unreliable. For all those who have read it, you know what happens. After a brief glossing over THE FREAKING FEAR TOXIN (and a strangely awkward Bruce and Alfred moment), we're thrust into a brawl between the Justice League...and everything feels wrong.

I know a lot of people like to think Batman is prepared for everything, and can beat Superman with ease, and maybe in some iterations he is, but not in Snyder's run. In Snyder's run, Batman is constantly at the edge of his rope. Court of Owls, Death of the Family, and Zero Year have seen Batman pushed to his limits time and time again barely making it out alive. So you're going to tell me that he can take out the Justice League with relative ease in one fight? No way. No freaking way.

Also, with the big reveal that Joker is back...sure he COULD be back already, but it just doesn't seem likely. Even though it's been about a year and half since we saw him last, it's really only been one arc. With an entire rogues gallery to explore it seems strange that Snyder would bounce back to the Joker immediately.

So to everyone getting excited about the big return, my word of advice is don't. Let's see where this goes, but I think Snyder and Capullo have some tricks up their sleeves for us.
