Saga #21

by F.D. White on July 24, 2014

Written by: Brian K. Vaughn
Art by: Fiona Staples

Saga is adept at taking moments from my life, feelings I've felt, things that I know, and putting in the context of a space opera. I relate on so many levels to this comic that reading it feels like I'm reading a part of my life...in space.

Image, Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples are all very mum about the plot. Solicitations avoid spoilers to the point where it's only one very vague sentence. I think this is a good tactic, as I like to be surprised, so I will avoid talking about spoilers as well for this review. I will just say, that this issue gives us another look at a brand new character introduced this arc, as well as brings some old favorites back in to the fold. It's shaping up to be very interesting that's for sure.

I enjoyed this issue very much from it's action to intimacy to laughs. This is a book that truly never disappoints. If you've been loving this book, you'll continue to love it.
