For anyone who may have been interested in reading Soulfire but came too late to the party like me this is a very good place to start. This is the beginning of a new story, as such not much of the plot is revealed we get introduced to all of the main characters, and a of course the villain. There are hints to events that have taken place in the past but they don’t dwell to long on them before moving on.

The art is very Turner like, with the characters looking a bit sketchy; this is good in the action sequences but is sometimes hard to look at in larger crowds sequences. The backgrounds are nice and there is a very good use of colour throughout.

If you’re looking for an interesting mix of fantasy and science fiction than All New Soulfire might just be the book for you.
