Justice League Dark has been such a wonderful series and this issue 100% continues that trend.

Ram V has done it again! The Justice League Dark is reunited and ready to face off against the Upside-Down Man. While this issue focused on reuniting the League Dark, its pacing is excellent, and the momentum of the action builds all the way through. I love the focus on Detective Chimp and Constantine in this issue, they make for quite the pair and Constantine’s smug attitude never disappoints to entertain.

The color of magic in this series is gorgeous. Chung brings out the magic of this book and reading through the scenes with Madame Xanadu, it’s difficult to deny the mysticism her colors add. Amancay Nahuelpan establishes some awesome action sequences. The Upside-Down Man is beyond creepy and absolutely imposing against the League Dark.

DC has been churning out some awesome series and Justice League Dark is most definitely in the top tier. While this issue isn’t best for newcomers, the lead up to this point has been so worth it and deserves to be read from the beginning of the arc.
