A Look Inside

Comments

Seige didn't actually change that much. The lasting effects of the event are, essentially, these:
- Official end of the Dark Reign saga (making Seige itself a sort of mini-event)
- Sentry is gone and his character has been ruined
- Asgard is essentially destroyed...but got rebuilt pretty quickly

Compare Seige to some more notable Marvel events- Civil War or House of M, for example. Civil War brought on a LOT of changes- entire new titles and teams were created, the super-hero community was divided, Marvel kept on pushing Speedball's personal issues on us for like two years afterwards, to name a few. House of M took the Scarlet Witch out of the Avengers and made her a character that most of the Marvel world wants dead , de-powered notable mutants like Jubilee, Polaris, Moonstar, Prodigy, Professor X and Magneto, and brought the gradual acceptance of mutants that the Marvel world had been edging towards to a grinding halt. THOSE were story arcs that changed everything.
